Inns at the Northwest Coast

Staying at an inn is both for you, who want to stay for one night with board to travel further on the next day or for you, who want to spend a weekend or a vacation in an atmosphere that exudes nostalgia, rural idyll as well as local and cultural history.

At the inn Sevel Kro you can try out Danish food culture by tasting the traditional "beer-bone" dish which is made after the inn's own recipe from 1760. With one or more overnight stays you have the possibility to get insights into the local cultural history by, for instance, taking a trip to Stubbergård lake and the remains of the Stubber Convent. Furthermore, you can visit the Open-Air Museum Hjerl Hede, which is also located close by.

If you prefer a more modern inn, Stenbjerg Kro and Seaside Hotel is an option. Here, they focus on local ingredients from their own herb garden and traditional recipes from nearby. You can combine your stay here with hiking or playing golf; both activities can be carried out in the National Park Thy, which is a close neighbor of the inn.
