Explore our beautiful area with lots of outdoor activities. You will find beautiful white sandy beaches, and some of the country's best waters for windsurfing, paddle boarding or just a fresh dip. The Hirtshals and Tversted area also offers a large selection of hiking and cycling routes.
With our location on the west coast, close to Norway, our area is also a great place for bird watching. Migratory birds on their way to or from the north often rest here, and since we have a varied nature, we also experience a varied selection of birds.
Angling is popular, either from the coast, from the pier in Hirtshals, with a tour boat out on the open sea or by Uggerby Å. An active holidays can also be a tour on horseback along the beach, a canoe trip on Uggerby Å or a fresh ride on a mountain bike in Tornby or Tversted dune plantation.
