Camper Van Parking Handbjerg Marina
Your trip begins in the southernmost part of the Limfjord, where you'll spend the night at the camper van parking at Handbjerg Marina. Here, you'll enjoy a stunning view of the marina and Venø Bay. This area has fantastic conditions for watersports like kitesurfing or kayaking. If you'd like to go on an excursion, the Hjerl Hede open-air museum is just a short drive away.
Camper Van Parking at Nr. Nissum Håndbryg
If you continue westward, you’ll reach the next overnight stop on your trip, which is at the camper van and caravan parking area at Nr. Nissum Håndbryg. A bit south of the camper van parking area lies Klosterheden Plantage, a perfect spot for a hike or a mountain bike ride. If you make a detour to the coast, you can experience the fantastic Bovbjerg Cliff, where you can enjoy a cup of coffee and a bite to eat at the lighthouse.

Vorupør Camping
The third stop of the trip takes you to Thy, where you'll stay at Vorupør Camping, right in the heart of the popular surf area, Cold Hawaii. On your way to Vorupør, you'll take the ferry from Thyborøn to Agger, then drive through the southern part of National Park Thy. While in Vorupør, you can try surfing and visit the scenic area at Bøgsted Rende.
Svinkløv Camping
Drive toward Jammerbugten, where you'll find Svinkløv Camping. Here, you're surrounded by stunning nature that invites you to engage in a range of outdoor activities. Test your mountain biking skills in Slettestrand or take a hike in the beautiful area around Fosdalen. About a 25-minute drive from the campground is Thorupstrand, and nearby, the unique bird cliff Bulbjerg.
Hirtshals Camping
If you head north, you'll reach Hirtshals Camping, where you'll stay overnight with Hirtshals Lighthouse as your closest neighbor. From here, you can explore the coast, try surfing in Løkken, take a trip to Rubjerg Knude Lighthouse, and visit Lønstrup Cliff. For a bit more adventure, you can go mountain biking in Tornby Dune Plantation.
