At the top of Denmark's shoulder, where the wind blows and the sea roars, a new light has been lit - the Light Point, a new experience in the middle of the raw landscape around Hanstholm Lighthouse that you won't want to miss.
Behind Lyspunktet are two well-known Danish chefs – Emilie Qvist Kjærgaard (formerly Restaurant Medvind) and Simon Basballe (formerly Restaurant Lyst) – who this summer invite you into a world of taste, nature, and presence. It’s not about fancy food, but honest meals made with local ingredients, served in beautiful surroundings.
During the day, you can relax in the garden with freshly brewed coffee, homemade pastries, light lunch dishes and natural wine. In the evening, Lyspunktet transforms into a cozy restaurant, offering à la carte or a full dining experience – including wine pairings and sunset views from the lighthouse tower.
The menu changes daily, depending on what Thy and the season have to offer. There is no fixed menu – just fresh, creative food based on availability and inspiration.
Every Sunday in July, you can enjoy special themed lunches – the perfect excuse to return.
