Untitled,(Uden Titel) Granite Sculpture by Finn Nielsen, 1987, Tårs
The artist never gives his abstract sculptures a title, and it is therefore up to each person to interpret the sculpture’s meaning.
This absrtract sculptures soft, organic shapes are not intended to portray anything specific and artist consistently choses not to name works, so interpretation of them avoids being pre-defined.
It is therefore up to the individual to make their own associations and form their personal impressions of the sculpture's meaning. Perhaps a mother with her child on her lap, or considering the location, maybe even Madonna with child?
